1. Starting an Agent

The LoadUI agent does not have a graphical user interface, but runs in a command line terminal. Its only task is to run any VU Scenarios that are deployed to it. Because of this, the agent is rather dull looking:

agentConsole

.

Quick tip:

You can stop a running agent by pressing Ctrl+C in the agent's terminal.

2. Advanced configuration

During installation, you will be asked to set any custom network port that LoadUI should use. To change the HTTPS network port that a LoadUI (agent or the main loadUI application) uses once LoadUI is installed, set this command-line option:

-Dloadui.https.port=4711

The default port is 8443.

3. 3. Port parameters in the script file

You can define the port parameter in the .bat/.sh file by setting the parameters:

set JAVA_OPTS=-Xms128m -Xmx2768m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m -Dloadui.https.port=1334
